I just got a 4850!

Just got a 4850 and I sold my 3850 for 60$ to my friend.

So What are the Avg OC's on these cards? I allready have an S1 on it :cool:

Well mine is modded with rbe to 1.158vgpu high 3d,and its benched at 750/1150 on 3d06

Try it and see how far it will go stock,then try it modded for more vgpu if its a weed like mine was before i edited the bios.

Hmmm 3Dmark06 is taking forever to launch....

Edit2: I reinstalled 3DM06 and it still doesnt work.. oh well. Whats a good bench mark to use?

OK so what do you guys use to see if you're 4850's are stable? I can Oc with riva tuner, but ATItool artifact scan doesnt really work.. =[

I'm just using Overdrive for now

i use overdrive. everytime i try to use another OC'ing program my driver crashes dont know why. i used amd gpu clock tool crashes, rivatuner crashes, only one i can use is overdrive its at 700/1135 on stock voltage :shadedshu

In overdrive for me I can set my core to 700 and mem up to 1200. =/

I couldn't make 3Dmark06' work either with my HD4850 until I found a file update.

Follow the instructions on where to place it and what file to rename and 3Dmark06' will work.

Although one person here said it didn't work for them :/
Worked for me though.

750 wow this 4870 core speed

My overdrive goes upto 800core and 1300mem now and i am on cat 8.8

Only problem is my card appears to be an asus one now,and not a gainward.
