I'm getting a new monitor but I am having trouble deciding between these four monitors:

Asus 21.5"
ASUS VW228TLB Black 21.5" 5ms Height, Swivel, Pivo...

Asus 23"
ASUS VH236H Black 23" 2ms Full HD Widescreen LCD M...

Asus 24"
Asus VE248H Black 24" 2ms Full HD HDMI LED Backlig...

BenQ 24"
BenQ GW2450 Glossy Black 24" 4ms (GTG) Widescreen...

Which is better for gaming?

I totally disagree.

The Asus 27" VG278H LED / 3D / 120Hz incl. Glasses is the way to go:

The Lightboost is pretty nice and with a Logitech G19 you will have no issues in a dark room to see your keyboard with ease even with the glasses on.

Just my two cents.

Though you are checking between those 4 specifics, I just still recommend to buy the 27th. - However, my screen at work is a BenQ 24 inch and it has been working for a long time now without issues. Stable and cheap.

O.P., what's your max budget? What type of gaming do you do (FPS, RPG, MMOs)? Casual or competitive?

Edit: If its confined to those choices and you're mainly an RPG/MMO gamer I'd choose the BenQ with the MVA panel. True 8 Bit color, better viewing angles. If you're primarily an FPS gamer I'd choose the 24" ASUS TN for the reduced chance of ghosting.

If price is so important, (the few dollars between the products) buy the Benq. I have had like 6 of those monitors, my mom never uses anything else and they are perfect. They are just not branded ASUS. Cheers
