I need to stop spending money on hdmi cables, suggestions?

So I have my pc away from my tv hdmi length needs to be 9-10m.
Gone through a few long length cables and had problems with all.

I'm thinking about buying a hdmi 2.1 cable for use with my 30 series card when I pick it up but don't want to buy a long one as I don't think it will be certified or any good so I'm thinking about either buying another cable to go with it and some sort of repeater/switch or something like hdmi over Ethernet adapters. Anyone have any suggestions all I need ATM is hdmi 2.0 at 10m in length I can purchase somewhere here in Asia.

For that distance you have to buy an active cable (fiber optic). These aren't cheap, but can be as long as 100m with full HDMI 2.0 bandwidth. Also, due to having active tranceivers they are less reliable in terms of longevity comparing to just simple bundle of wiring in a passive cable. Price is also an issue. Even the cheapest 10m active cable will cost you upwards of $100, and the brand-name cables go for $250-300.

Some of the cheaper ones(relatively) to look for are from StarTech and TrippLite(Eaton). Should be available worldwide, including Thailand.

I've got LAN cable and USB hub from them, can't complain. As long as you don't run into a knockoff then you should be fine.

I use ugreen cables alot here always buy from their store so shouldn't get a copy just crazy that buying from them it's $50 then in the USA it's $125

10m HDMI 2.0 cable from them is $32 in Poland, and that's with 23% VAT.

Doubt that's a fibre optic hdmi just a regular one it's not that I don't trust it but the length seems to deteriorate some of the extra features past 4k 60z

All the hdmi cables I've bought have displayed but certain features like input signal plus hasn't worked so the TV can't scale or HDR won't enable.

Keep in mind that optical cables are directional, so if you plug them in the wrong way around, you won't get a signal.

Another option might be HDMI extenders over Ethernet, not sure there are any affordable solutions for HDMI 2.0/2.1 though.

Get a Roku or pc for your tv, then set up a plex server. Or just use your smart tv with plex.

Not sure if they are lying on the spec or how they miraculously managed to get the price that low, but I'd be weary. Even cheap-ass StarTech or even cheaper sub-par Cablexpert costs more than $100 here.
Just to put it into perspective, even the cheapest no-name HDMI AOC cable on aliexpress starts at $50 for 10m, which is a bad sign that this is could be just an overpriced generic passive cable, cause you can't really tell until you cut it.

The cable sells for $125 in the Us but if I buy direct from the factory it's $50, from reviews and the like it seems to be the real deal. Also the cable looks way to small to be anything but optical. Anyways I'll try it, simple enough to test if it's anything but what's advertised I can return it.

There are a few. I think the TrippLite one I posted earlier was 2.1(48Gbps). There are lots on Amazon etc, but I think a lot of them are total bullshit.

That's my belief also the amount of 2.0 and 2.1 cables sold here that are obviously useless is crazy all sold as gold plated and so on, at least most are below $10

Don't know about shipping to Asia, but I've used monoprice cables for long runs. Use the filters on the side to pick at least 18Gps bandwidth for 2.0 and 48Gps for 2.1. Double check the bandwidth listing once you pick the length because some of them drop to 10.2Gps once you choose the longer lengths.

Like I said it's not the shipping but the import duty a 10m AOC cable is $125 plus duty and shipping would make it $400-$500 I could buy a kaiboer cable for that or wireless hdmi 2.0

The reviews on this seem great and it's half the price for the same cable here compared to the US.
