I think my dell screen just kicked it...

Well, the thing suddenly started flickering on the bottom 2\3 of the screen, pretty sure it's unrelated with any external hardware software because the menus on screen also flicker, connected an external camera trough hdmi same thing, so, I guess time to start looking for a new one.
Anyone experienced with fixing monitors know anything related, and also any good 1080p screen for up to 200€?

It's like 4yo, it's connected trough dp, I tried hdmi, but it looks like shit without anything plugged in...

That looks like dying IPS panel. If it starts fading off periodically, then it's dead-dead.
Regarding cheap monitors: bought myself BenQ GW2283 for the office (~$90 on sale). It's probably the cheapest decent IPS monitor, but the build quality and image is on-par with older Ultrasharps. The only downside is no DP (2xHDMI, 1xVGA). On the higher end of that price range your only options are either Samsung S24R650 or just another Dell Ultrasharp. Everything else is flimsy garbage made out of packing plastic.

You will feel pain if you move away from IPS panels.
This model it is available in Greece, DELL U2415 24.1'' IPS LED FULL HD BLACK , at 300 EUR.

No TN, ideally 24" ips 1080p, dont really have the hardware for larger rez, and I watch lot's of 1080p content.

I like this non gaming lg 24BL650C-B, it's an ips with a good stand but average specs...
Or the asus VG249Q, better specked ips...

On the up side, my ancient 22" HP came back to life bad power supply and all, takes a while to come back online and im not used to the image...

Keep in mind, dell does not actually make panels, they are just a panel integrator from a variety of choices of OEMs (and a good one, I think).

Reason I bring this up is I don't think any panel lifetime issues will be "dell exclusives" if you catch my drift.

I was looking for LG, they are mostly tn panels or shitty ips monitors, well I found a reasonable non gaming lg the 24BL650C-B, but I'm thinking of sticking with dell on this one after all. I was very interested in this asus model too, great specs for the price, apparently shitty quality as well, bad quality control on those...

If it weren't for the "gaming premium" I have actually used LGs AU Optronics based gaming VA panels and found them ok. But the pricetag isn't pretty.

Like 400 or something, I'm not a gaming pro, mostly a casual, to much gaming is bad for my health...
My only addiction is borderlands 3...

I have two P2419H at my office, if it wasn't for a speck of dust under the screen on one unit they would be perfectly fine. They have a pretty wide range of brightness adjustment, USB hub is handy too. Out of the box they were ok'ish when it comes to color accuracy, one was a bit blueish the other a bit greenish. But hey, it came with the job, so can't complain. Beside, for the past 6 months I've been working from home so it's not like I'm using them daily.

Well, off with the old dead Dell, in with the new dell, got U2419HC, wanted the cheaper U2419H but this is what I could get on the other hand, i wonder if an extra ~25€ would be worth it for the U2420H newer but inferior model...

The image looks great out of the box, it has a new interesting stand, lots of usb ports i will never use, etc. To bad at this price does not have HDR at least...
Last but not least, the old 10+yo HP panel lasted another 2 days and shall be put to rest, for another day very far into the future...
