What are those variables and how can modify it?Your HX supports undervolting but the BIOS has locked this feature. You need to modify two UEFI variables in the BIOS to unlock this feature.

Very exotic model, well I guess you should try the easy unlocked bios methodThis is my laptop, it uses a CLEVO/KAPOK case and motherboard.

I checked it and there are no settings for undervolt or overclock in my bios. I also checked and tried the video you send, it did not work for me because I don't have the Intel Advanced Menu.Very exotic model, well I guess you should try the easy unlocked bios method
But beware, it could end your laptop for good so do some good researching and remember Im really not liable
This worked for my 13th gen i9hx, maybe you can too
Might be a dumb question this late in the game but have you looked into your bios to see if there is a ´´disable undervolt protection´´ click? Or even better, a undervolt section?
did you do the rufus and all the rest? If yes, there is still a way which is edditing something caleed RU.EFI, Im not sure how to do it since the easier way went through for me but if you are really invested there might still be a way, its basically something you download to edit a value in the bios like uncle said above, its kinda nit picky but I think you can manage it. There are some people doing this in the notebook talk forum, im going to send you the link where I first saw it which was when I googled about the m16 (my case)I checked it and there are no settings for undervolt or overclock in my bios. It is done. Thanks a lot!did you do the rufus and all the rest? There is a lot of useless thing for you case there but some people mention RU.efi and you can just control F to find it![]()
Alienware M18 undervolt protection won't disable
notebooktalk.net
Might be a good place to start
Is it because i use windows 11?The FIVR monitoring table shows that your undervolt request is being ignored.
Top middle of the FIVR window shows that Undervolt Protection is enabled. Now you need to find a way to disable that. Intel is not very enthusiast friendly these days.
Nah, did u disable undervolt protection? What method worked? CS Studio smokey´s UMAF? RU.EFI? Are you sure undervolt protection is disabled? Did you disable CFG lock? Is the core windows protection off? Inside system mananger is system virtualization off? Did you re delete the ini file and opened throttlestop again? Is it because i use windows 11?
I used this video as a guide, I disabled undervolt protectiton, overclocking lock and CFG lock, core windows protection is off, virtualization is off, deleted the ini file but still did not workNah, did u disable undervolt protection? What did you do up until now exacly?
Aint the video made only for gen 10 and 11?I used this video as a guide, I disabled undervolt protectiton, overclocking lock and CFG lock, core windows protection is off, virtualization is off, deleted the ini file but still did not work
Undervolt Protection needs to be disabled in the BIOS. I do not think Windows can enable this.Is it because i use windows 11?
12th and 13th gen Overclocking lock 0x10e Cfg lock 0x43 Command is setup_var CpuSetupAint the video made only for gen 10 and 11?
Try the RU EFI method, i think your video only covers gen 10 and 1112th and 13th gen Overclocking lock 0x10e Cfg lock 0x43 Command is setup_var CpuSetup
I did this and still can't undervolt![]()
I tried ru.efi method, same resultTry the RU EFI method, i think your video only covers gen 10 and 11

Maybe message the website where you bought the laptop from. They might have some advanced bios that they might charge for it. Some Clevo resellers partner with a person who designs bios for them, maybe your laptop seller is one of the partners.I tried ru.efi method, same resultidk what to do
HUH? I can overclock it but i can't undervolt it???
I assume you mean that you can overvolt the CPU but you cannot undervolt it.I can overclock it but i can't undervolt it???
