i5 3570 High Temps

I can't remember what these chips use to run like but this seems a bit to hot? this is my itx lan rig it was just a cheap build, I changed from using the stock Intel cooler to a coolermaster i70C but the temps are pretty much the same lol, the paste was already on both coolers I'm thinking maybe i should apply my own paste to see if it helps.

It will, I used arctic mx-4 over the crap included with my be quiet cooler which had "high grade thermal paste" and temps dropped around 6c load.

With mx-4 it should get it down to around 65c load at least - that's great since it won't throttle at that temp under heavy load.

70 C isn't high. Don't waste time on this, you still have 25 C of headroom right there.

That is true - since it won't throttle at that temperature, though if the OP absolutely has to shave off some c's arctic mx-4 will do the job pretty cheaply.

Haha just done that but i use EK Ectotherm will let this run for awhile and let you guys know cheers.

better paste seem to drop 5c off which is better than nothing haha cheers guys.
