not really happy with this cpu. knew it wasn't that good before I bought it but got it cheap.
my old i5 2500k seemed to perform better. or am I expecting too much?
attempted to overclock last night by copying a guide of someone who had pretty much the same setup as me.
my pc failed to boot into windows saying 'an operating system wasn't found'
have sorted it now by repairing the boot files in cmd. not sure if the overclock affected this but it would seem so.
I know it requires a bit of tinkering in the bios to get good stability, but want a bit of advice really as well without messing things up.
have seen these cpus hit 4.0ghz.
or do I just buy a better cpu??
