IDF: 10 New World Records Reset

Intel along with XtremeSystems ran a phase-change cooling demo of a ridiculously overclocked 45nm Yorkfield (quad-core Penryn) running at around 5.5GHz and managed to break not one, not two but 10 World Records. Read bellow for more info

i dont think many people can cool thier PC to 160 below 0 - i find these results pointless. i dont think there is any point in doing this. the everyday user wants a fast PC why dont they do that.

its like advertising a new car that can go 10000mph - well thats all good and fancy if your speed limit isnt 70mph!!!

It's a world record, as there are world records for everything. Nobody said anything about every day use.

everyworld record, is very hard to run 24/7
but still congratz for intel, however i tought a 5.5ghz yorkfield could yeld better results
