I stumbled across this gem when researching closed-loop water cooling setups (CoolIT ECO ALC) and I had a BLAST reading it!

CAUTION: There are lots of big/strange words used that some might not fully understand.
If by the end of the first post you aren't laughing, proceed no further as you haven't gotten it yet and thus won't by reading any more

There seems to be at least one or two other people who post replies who have caught on that the OP is not actually contemplating doing this, so they go along with it and fuel the fire adding to the hilarity.

If just one of you gets a kick out of this, I'll consider it a successful mission :p

Dude i need a face palm emotion.

Incase anyone is wondering... watercooling works on a principle of closed loops, in which you need a heat exchanger of some sort.

If he wants to do his idea, he would still need a form of exchanger otherwise the heat will build up since u cant destory heat, and his poor design has no consideration for convection cooling the reservoir.

No, his theory is that the compression of the water is 'super-cooling' the water, so no heat exchanger is required. :p But you can only compress water to a certain point before it actually starts to get hot (like mentioned, but I'm talking waaaay more compression). Oddly though, the water is compressed so much that it is actually a solid, which is NOT ice; however, scientists actually call it ice :) Here is one of them that is theorized to be on the 'ocean floor' of a planet not in our solar system, which they call Ice 7 (YAY Discovery & Science Channel lol)

BTW I made this a long time ago, even though it's a bit bigger than an emote haha

Here's 2 though that I found with a quick google images search.

Yeah but according to his model... where does the heat go?

Does he have an element X that eats heat?

Yes and no. What I'm able to gleam from all that, is when the water is compressed from the vortex, it gets cooled, then it absorbs the heat from the CPU and expands. The warmer water get's sucked (or pumped, depending on if you read the part where he adds in a pump) back into the egg reservoir and the cycle continues. How the water dissipates the heat is again back at the compression stage where it gets cooled back down to 4C (or whatever it was, 4C above ambient or something).

But again this is not supposed to be taken seriously haha
