ok im a newbie at overclocking and i've been reading about it and it kinda interested me..
i got an ati radeon 9550GT.. stock is at 459/198 n i got vga silencer rev3..
i downloaded atitool and searched for max core but it only goes up for a few mins then i left it for a few hours and it was still in the same core checking for artifacts.. it only goes up if i abort it then press find max core again..

uhh.. i meant i was askin am i meant to press abort then press find max core again for it to go up? or does that mean thats that when it stays there

9550s clocks are locked by Default AFAIK so ya need to got to the Settings/Misc and tab the Clock unlocker try that and see if your clockrates start movin
