image does not fit screen

hello all. just got my new hannspree 25 inch monitor and setting it up. great picture, but there is a border around it. the image doesnot fit the screen, it is too small, and in ccc i dont see any strech to fit option or anything. i have it hooked up with an hdmi cable, and set it to pc mode. any ideas? great picture on this, and i dont want to have to return it. thanks. sam

use the resize buttons/options on the monitor itself

Open CCC. Select the "Graphics" dropdown and click "Desktops and Displays" In the BOTTOM pane, click the black triangle on the monitor and click "Configure." Click the "Scaling Options" and slide over to 0% scaling and hit Apply. Doesn't fix it? Click on Pixel Format and set it to Full RGB and click Apply.

Also, make sure that your monitor is set to a standard aspect ratio in its settings.
