Sup guys,
I'm in the market for a laptop/netbook and a small budget. Preferably under $300. I am not sure whether I want/need a laptop or if a netbook would suit me better.
What it will be used for:
School work (MS Word, Power point ect)
Storing music (I have an iphone so this will be used with it most of the time)
Internet/Mail
IRC
I don't want something bigger than 15". But i am worried a netbook will cause eye strain. I don't want to have to keep getting "face to monitor" close to browse the web.
I want at leas a 6-8 hour battery life (if that's even possible), and a decent sized HDD. As for the cpu, it shouldn't matter to much for my needs, I figure a 2Ghz is more than enough. I do want a good amount of ram though, or at least enough to fit in my budget.
I was thinking of the Asus Eee PC, as well as the MSI wind but I'll be open minded to whatever suggestions you guys have.
Peace.
