Hey gyus.

I have the system as listed below:

Mobo: Asus striker II extreme sli
Ram: 4 gb 1333 Mhz
cpu: core 2 duo E8400
Ssd 120 gb
2 x gtx 550 ti
Win 10 x64

So the problem is that i can see everywhere that my computer recognize my 2 gpus. But when i am trying to run my favorite game ( path of exile) it says that my second card is inactive.
I have tried many solutions but i cannot work my second gpu.
Any suggestions???

Thanks in advance!

Here's something you could try - not all games support sli but sometimes need to modify game profile with nvidia inspector

I have needed to do similar modification to others games aswell when ran sli gtx 560

https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/400297

A short walkthrough on how I managed to get SLI and Driver-level AA working. Please note that this only applies to Nvidia GPU's.

1. Download Nvidia Inspector here: http://www.guru3d.com/files_details/nvidia_inspector_download.html
2. Install Nvidia Inspector, run it, and go to profile settings.
3. Find "Dragon : MMORPG" profile and delete it.
4. On the top bar, click on the sun icon which says (on mouse-over) "Create new profile", make a name for the profile in the popup window (I.e "Path Of Exile").
5. Open the profile you have just created from the list on the top-left corner of the Inspector window.
6. Click "Add application to current profile", browse to your PoE folder and select to add client.exe
7. OPTIONAL Under the "Antialiasing Compatibility" line, select 0x0000F0C1.
8. OPTIONAL Under "Antialiasing - Setting" line, select the desired AA you wish to use for PoE.
9. OPTIONAL Under "Antialiasing - Mode" line, select "Override any application setting".
10. Under the "SLI Compatibility Bits" line, select 0x0040000D.
11. Click on "Apply Changes" at the top-right corner of the Inspector Window.
12. Launch PoE, go to options and disable the in-game AA if you did step 7-9.

Seems like no one can get it to work even though there appears to be a workaround..... that does not work!

Are you getting low FPS? Would'nt one 550ti run the game fine?

If you can afford it buy single gpu and sell those 2x550

Also lacking on the cpu, going to have to upgrade the pc soon
