What GPU-Z versions are you testing with? Try something from 2019-2021?

& Naki:
The newer ones are not good for me. It should work under 32-bit Windows 2000, the rest doesn't matter much to me. If this is impossible, should i try 32 bit XP? (Worth more than nothing, if it is good with it.)

WinXP 32-bit should work.
Installer of latest versions won't work on WinXP, however, so you may need to use GPU-Z as Standalone/Portable (without installing it).

I am unsure if or when Windows 2000 was dropped as supported, maybe @W1zzard knows. :)

GPU-Z-ver*.exe is not a valid Win32 application.

WinXP 32-bit should work.

Thx, i will try on XP later.

I looked some more into this and the problem is that our compiler only supports targeting Windows XP. This is already the legacy compiler.

I spent the last two hours trying to figure out Windows 2000 targeting, but it's simply not feasible.

For example, UPX, our exe compressor can't run binaries on Windows 2000. Another problem is that the C++ standard library uses several functions that aren't available on Windows 2000.

They all show different readouts for clocks.
#1-3 are running GPU-Z 2.25.0
#1 lists nan(ind) MHz for GPU and Memory clock, and -nan(ind) GPixel/s and GTexel/s.
#2 lists 0 MHz for Memory clock.
#3 has nothing for Pixel and Texture fillrate, 2 MHz for GPU clock and 14 MHz for Memory clock.
#4 is running GPU-Z 2.28.0, and I think it's showing everything correctly?
#5 is running GPU-Z 2.38.0, and it's the same as #4 but with Resizable BAR listed as "Not supported".

No. Different results, but none of them is the good one.

Could I use AnyDesk to log onto your machine to (try to) fix the clock readings? (Tomorrow, about to head to bed)

No, this does not apply - I meant GPU-Z support for Windows 2000. :)
(and not Microsoft support, the dates of which are easily available in many locations, and which was not discussed at all)

My bad. I only use GPU-Z every once in a while and I wasn't aware that older versions of Windows get dropped from support. I thought GPU-Z was just about displaying info about the GPU.

I'm with you. If there was a reasonably easy way to keep support for Windows 2000, I'd definitely use it. The problem is that the whole toolset has moved on. Even targeting Windows XP isn't officially supported anymore.

@W1zzard -- all or almost all Windows software in the world lists the supported/required Windows OS versions (often with minimum CPU generation(s)/types listed too for system tools such as GPU-Z) in their Downloads page(s).
I think GPU-Z download page lacks such info currently? :) Could you please add it?

I.e. something like -- Supported Windows OS versions: Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP (partial support, no Installer).
Or if you prefer shorter text -- "Windows XP (partial support, no installer) up to Windows 10" (or similar wording of your choice).

IF latest GPU-Z versions also require the AMD/Intel CPU being used to have a certain instruction set present, IMHO you should list that too - i.e. say "SSE2 required for CPU" (or similar wording as you prefer, with whatever instruction sets are required).

EDIT: Okay, sorry about that - looking again, it seems the WIndows OS versions are listed, but not in Downloads page.
They are on the main product page, here: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/

You might still want to add a brief line on supported Windows OS versions to the Downloads page too, if possible.
Also, it does not say WinXP cannot use the Installer anymore - I think this should be explicitly mentioned too. :)
