Hi everybody! (Hi Doctor Nick)...I joined this group because all those big companies are waayyyy over moderated. So also thanks for letting me post right away.

I work as an electrician, started in 2013. I have a Journeyman license, a master's license and got the power limited license for fun. I've been really into computers/programming etc for about 30 years. All my friends are online and IRC ruined my life.

Now the part that matters, I've basically just been tinkering for the last year trying to level up my electronics/circuitry ability or knowledge. When I started JTAGing I also modified the MHL and IDE/SATA to USB adapter's cables. In doing so I think I screwed up and lost some SMDs in the process of soldering near them.

Does anyone have either of these adapters and can open them up for a picture to give me to fix what I broke? Yeah they're cheap trash, could buy another but this skill-building.

Thanks mucho gusto!

I used to have a very similar adapter to that (the IDE one) but it's been years since I have seen it. If I come across it I'll schuck its case and get you some photos. No idea if that'll happen soon though...
