Hey guys

I have problem with my new Inno3D 1080 X3. Fans don't work properly. In 3D (games, benchmark...) RPM is very low and the result is high temp. If i set FAN to 100% in desktop RPM is high, but when i start some game RPM drop to minimum. I tried different drivers and flashed bios.

Here you can see 1500+ RPM on 100% in 2D. After i started Heaven RPM drop (it jumps up and down but fans are on low RPM)

Go to the install directory and delete the .cfg in profiles.

I believe they use they same file structure as afterburner still.

If that doesnt work try msi afterburner instead.

In the video you linked it looks like the temperature was pretty low in the 40s or so what is it doing the temperature gets higher?

Also what does the manufacturer say?

I tried afterburner. EVGA or Afterburner tool is not the problem.
When i'm in the game temp rises to 80+ because RPM is on low. When i exit the game RPM rises up and cool down the card.

Running Heaven. RPM low and temp is rising...

When i exit Heaven RPM rises...

Edit: No answer from Inno3D for now...

Yes. This is just for example. But there is no difference if there is FS or not. The main problem is when card is in 2D... fan RPM or fan control is normal (working as it should be).. after going in 3D fan control is not working and RPM is on low all the time.

In your video you didn't even cross 60 C. These cards are built to run 75-80 C non stop.

Are you sure it is not just the automatic fan curve, or multiple applications forcing a fan curve? Either way, enjoy the new card I guess :D

Realy? 75-80? Nice :D;)

So you want 10min long video just to see temp. 80+? This video is just to show you the RPM problem not the tepm. problem...

The new card is working like it should...
