Heys.

Does anyone here have experience with customizing a windows installation to automatically install drivers and certain basic program?
Like certain computer manufactures have done, as in. Whenever you reinstall from the backup disc all the bloatware and old drivers comes with it.
Only thing I found for windows 10 is NTlite, but I was hoping for a free, or manual way way of doing this.

Thanks in advanced.

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
I thought NTLIte IS the manual way to do it.

That said, even with a clean installation of W10, it picked up the VAST majority of drivers anyway so I don't have to slipstream anything. Same with W7/8.1 really.

Far as I know, the free version dosen't auto-fill when installing software. The Home verdion does, but costs 45$.

Other than that, no essential difference.

Sorry I haven't used this since XP, when you say auto-fill when installing software what do you mean? unless its for an unattended setup it shouldn't be an issue should it?

Far as I understand the no auto-fill means I have to click, and choose all installation settings for drivers and such. Or is this misunderstood?
The thing I am trying to archive, is to install windows almost like if it was a snapshot from earlier.

Ah right, it could well be though as I mentioned I haven't used it since XP days so couldn't comment if that is what it means, even so, should be quicker and more streamlined than downloading and installing them from a clean install without this and then maybe create a snapshot of the finished OS when the install is done for future installs?

Maybe someone else who has used it for 10 will chime in as well or advise on another way to go about it though :)

Yeah, that might be the easiest thing to do. Anyways, im going to try it tomorrow and see how it goes then.
I'll be honest, I never actually knew you could create a full system image. Just like that. Such time wasted reinstalling. At least I know now!

Thanks for the info friend.
