Intel's next-generation mobile platform code-named Santa Rosa will feature DirectX 10-compatible graphics core. The new platform which is to be released early next year will be formed by a Merom processor with 800MHz system bus, new core-logic chipset code-named Crestline with DirectX 10 shader model 4.0-compatible built-in graphics core, Intel NAND technology that boosts performance of hard disk drives, code-named Kedron wireless network controller compliant with an 802.11n standard, which will increase bandwidth to up to 600Mb/s, and some other innovations. Instead of BIOS, the new platform will support Unified Extensible Firmware Interface(UEFI), an interface that helps hand off control of the system before the OS is loaded.

hmmm it's been so long since Sintel has had a decent integrated graphics solution, that I can't imagine that this one will be worth a hoot either ;)

"long time" or never?
They had a dx 7 solution, and noone in their right mind used it. They brought dx 9 to the table, and in no game is it really usable. I really wanna see them ditch their integrated graphics, and rely on Nvidia or ATI.
