Intel 3930K not correctly supported?

Hey all,

I have just tried to monitor temps of my new 3930K using RealTemp.

The problem is that RealTemp GT 3.60, i7Turbo GT 1.30, and RealTemp 3.70 all show only 4 cores (or 8 threads for i7Turbo GT 1.30). This chip should have 6 cores and 12 threads.

After checking CPU-Z 1.59 it appears I DO have 6 cores and 12 threads activated.

My question is aimed toward other 3930K/3960X owners using RealTemp:

Is there incomplete support for these chips at the moment? Is there something more sinister afoot?

Thanks for the help!

Oh, and just for completeness: there has yet to be a patch for the i7Turbo GT?

That one is still reading only 8 threads.

AH, you'll have to ask UncleWebb on that one(He is the writer/programmer of RealTemp). The SKT2011 support, as you can see by the date of the post i linked, is still relatively new.
