Sometimes people seem to be surprized by a fancy title (video or article).
Everybody knows, even the dirt... that Intel is not depending only on Desktop, high-end PCs or even server market. Yes we know its an Empire. Hey, I've got an Intel part on my AMD system and my smartphone... I'm surprized!!
He know it too. But apparently there are always someone who likes to interpret anything as he likes.
But because they are not depending on the consumer market does not mean that they dont want to be hurry to have something to show to the market. Otherwise they wouldnt come up with the hybrid idea of 8+8cores (big.little arch). They could wait a couple of years for their 7nm parts.
But they dont... they want to have something competitive in 2021. And it might work, even if it is wierd and monstrous, superglued or whatever.
Thats what those videos was all about. But you can keep reading and explain titles, stare the tree and miss the forest...

Remembering when Intel was mocking AMD for "glued" ZEN1 architecture and now Intel is trying to glue things all the way to the max.
I really hope they succeed for the competition to go on.

AMD mocked Intel for gluing dies together on a package first.

Pentium D vs Athlon 64 X2

Then the Pentium 3 returned and paddled AMD so hard they launched Bulldozer.... ROFL

We are not in kindergarten here to play the “you do/say it first” game/debate. My point was entirely on another place that you didn’t see.

I was just having some fun. No need to be so serious. I was just pointing out they've been hurling that dirt back and forth for a long time.

On the other hand, both of these companies act like they are in kindergarten at times. Sooo....

You have a point. Heh

PS #52:
AMD said that for the Pentium Ds or AMD fanboys? It’s not the same.
I really don’t remember, it was long ago. But 2017 Intel was making marketing and slides upon the glued stuff.

Any way my point was that even tho Intel is a huge company with loads and loads of profits that can buy and sell AMD 10 times, they do care about consumer market. Otherwise they didn’t have to come up with a hybrid architecture plan to have something to try compete, until they are ready for 10nm+++ or 7nm. And they will eventually. I will say again, I really hope they do it, even with the glue. Nothing wrong using glue, as long as it works and compete with AMD, not just in performance but on other aspects too.
Competition is good, for us.

That was what I was talking about and that was the point of the 2 videos I posted, and some got sick about because of titles and other stuff.
Dont like it, don’t see it, and dislike it. It’s everyones right.
