Thanks Dark and Shadow :D

Really want a Quad fellas. And don't go saying "it's not worth it" - I've only ever had Duals and i don't give two shits about benches.

I don't think you can be that precise based on the OC. I have a later batch (Q823) that took 1.17V for 4.0ghz, and 1.208V for 4.2ghz.

Has a lot to do with the VID.

I'm guessing this one has a 1.25V VID.

edit: aw, off by 0.01V :)

I sold this cpu to Moonpig and forgot to give him the cpu info. It is indeed a q820 1.26 vid.
4.5 ghz stable and 4.9 ghz max windows boot on a Dfi Blood Iron and water.
I highly recommend doing business with him. :toast:

damn i wish i can take that 8600. all i got running my system is a Q6600 G0 easily at 3.6 on air. probably could go higher if i attained more knowledge of overclocking.

I'll post to you, if the deal is right.

well i'm using it now. i've never pushed it real hard. i've kept it at a safe 3.6 with ram at 1066mhz. cpu voltage is at 1.38 always.

ah, might be difficult then.

i do have a spare E6400 in my old rig (not using because it's not compelte). if you're really interested, then i'd have to find some packaging for it (i should have an old intel box).

Thing is, i was hoping for a Money + Quad trade.

My E8600 is worth more than a Q6600. Thats why i wanted to stay in the EU, so postage wasn't high.

well depends on how much you want in cash. if it's just right, i just might comply with you.
