Intel CPU temp program

I am not sure if this is the proper forum for this request, but I just finished my new core dou build ( havent updated system spes yet), but I need a good temp monitoring program.

MY version of everest was too old (ultimate version 4), and I'm not sure that speedfan is giving my proper temps. My cpu is a E8400, and the it is a X38 Gigabyte board (GA-X38-DS4)

Download Coretemp. Like the name implies it takes the temperature of the CPU core (Tjunction) and not the IHS/Socket temp (Tcase). But you can't rely on the temperatures that the 45nm processors give you, they tend to read too high.

I think with your system you will easily hit 4GHz. People tend to hit 4GHz on 1.3v, but it tends to be not exactly 100% stable so people give it 1.32 or so to make sure it's stable. I'd say 1.35v would be pretty safe for you.
