The DFI X38 LP LT says it supports this and the DFI X38 LP DK doesn't say it. However after reading here exactly what it is, I would think that they would both have it, just that it's not listed on the LP DK. 64-bit is so common now I can't imagine the LP DK wouldn't support it. What do you guys think?

Could a be mistake; All major AMD/Intel CPUs made now are 64-bit as far as I know.

its just a marketing trick really... if your motherboard supports core 2, then you have EMT64... but erm... EMT64T?? thats gotta be wrong, someone at newegg copied down the spects after a few beers.

EMT64 has been around for years...I had support for it on my old i865PE Abit + Intel P4 630 rig...not that I would've used it then..it was there iirc. I know the chip had support, Intel chipset supported PAT, up 4-8GB DDR400 iirc. It's running with 3gb, on a 32-bit XP Pro setup atm.

I would check the DFI site, maybe snoop on their forums and ask a question or two about it. Really if your Proc and OS support it, and older chipsets do also, it's gotta be a typo man. I don't think there's anything to worry about, but get ahold of DFI on their forums...they'll set things straight for ya!
