out of pure curiousity... Does the CPU have a small hole in the top?.. Because i have this chip that isnt a standard size and when i knew what it was i researched it and found it too pc-800 (which is rimm if i also remember correctly)

All CPU's have holes in the top. This is to let air out during production. As for the mobo, why would it be a server mobo?

It was an old server, hence a server mb?

Plus I dont know of to many household systems that use RIMM memory.

But we can call it a regular ole motherboard.... it doesnt hurt my feelings :p
