Intel Slams the Brakes on Hillsboro R&D Center as Part of Cost Savings

He doesn't want to admit that Intel is in the crapper thus he will dance around and BS. It's a bad look to be taking a compensation package as large as Pat is when the company is doing that bad. Tim Cook has a much smaller package in a company ten times the size that's not doing great but they are muliples better than Intel, and yet he still took a cut cuz ppl were grumbling. This type of CEO pay cut is not uncommon. Dan Price for ex. took a cut so they could pay their employees more! Gawd, pay your peeps more, what kind of CEO does that?

Looks like AMD is losing the war of attrition. Not owning your own foundries has consequences.
