Where is Meteor and Lunar Lake? Seems that Intel is trying to go into outer space. What’s next, Jupiter Lake? Titan Lake?
You could try google.

Meteor Lake is in California.

Lunar Lake is in Nevada. Seems to be so small as to not even register on maps, though.

Last time intel had more than one design of chip on a Socket (let alone motherboard) was the socket 775 which had 2 generations of P4 and 2 generations of Core Number Numeral

LGA 775 was even more expansive than that. Three generations of Pentium 4 with 2 generations of Pentium D in there (Gallatin, Prescott/Smithfield, Cedar Mill/Presler (die shrunk Prescott), and two generations of Core 2 (Conroe/Kentsfield, Wolfdale/Yorkfield). So much interchangeability.

The Meteor Lake series of processors will be Intel's fourth product series to feature a hybrid core design

You mean third product series after Alder Lake and Raptor Lake, right?

God wolfdale was amazeballs for its time, i love the generations over the years that stand the test of time

Wolfdale, nehalem, sandy/ivy bridge

Zen 3 would be my choice for current gen that will last the test of time, but i hope intel comes up with something good (depends if they can avoid the heat density issues AMD has ran into)
