Intel annnounced two new low-power CPUs: the U1300 Core Solo processor running at 1.06GHz, and the U1400 Core Solo running at 1.2GHz. Intel Senior Vice President and General Manager David Perlmutter announced the chips Wednesday during one of Intel's Developer Forums. The Ultra Low Voltage Core Solo chips consume only 5.5 watts at max load, allowing PC makers to use them without cooling fans in really small notebooks such as Gateway's NX100X and Fujitsu's Q2010 we mentioned before..
