I'll put this into perspective.

RTX a4000 Quadro card is as good as a 3070 non LHR in mining ETH. It is also double the price of what MSRP of a 3070 is here in Canada. It sold out quickly when people found out.

If these are good for mining, it will be hard to get.

I believe it is using TSMC 6FF vs the 7FF node that the rx 6000 series is using. Note that's actually two gen improvements in area efficiency for a die vs 7FF (Zen 3 uses 7FF+). However, they are updating 7nm nodes to 6nm for production so they lose the 7nm node.

Theoretically that will mean about 35% more chips per 300mm wafer, so there is a supply increase. Area in this case is defined as "... measured in mm2 and refers to the total area of silicon that is required to make a physical implementation of the IP. "

Still these prices are crap. I'm still waiting for my $399 3060 Ti.

Yeah no kidding, a R9 290 Vapor X in 2014 was 460, the top cards are pushing 10x that price!

There is no problem with buying Radeons in the UK at the moment. An example from one of the stores (basically every major store has cards).

I considered several cards from here, also one GeForce in the list. However, the XFX RX 6700 XT Merc 319 Black quickly sold out, which I finally bought a few days ago for £729 with delivery.
