internet explorer prob

hi all when ever i try and watch a film on you tube with internet explorer 9 it cant play it and says

You need Adobe Flash Player to watch this video.
Download it from Adobe.

so i follo the link and install it reboot the pc and try it again and get the same error message, any idears?

Try to clean all browsing history cookies and all. Then download/run flash uninstaller from here http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html?promoid=DNRTE

After that try to install it again.
