My father has an Iomega Zip Drive 100 IDE that was manufactured on 2001. It's been installed since 2009 on a GA-790XTA-UD4P and it isn't detected by bios. I can't remember if it was working after the upgrade from Sempron to Phenom II back on 2009, I can't recall.
Today I noticed it, that the green button led stays switched on always and the drive isn't recognized at all.
No jumper attached. And I want to ask if the jumper is needed for such an old drive connected alone to the IDE slot.
