I was reading over at slashgear.com that the ion le is just a crippled by drivers ion. I want dx10 support with my acer aspire revo 1600. Can someone tell me if im doing this right.
I want to fool the driver to think that the Ion LE is an Ion.
ION device id is 0876
ION Le device id is 087F
so in the NV_DISP.inf file I have
%NVIDIA_DEV.0876.01% = Section020, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0876
%NVIDIA_DEV.087F.01% = Section022, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_087F
So do I need to make the 087F line to read section20 or make the 0876 line read section22?
here the original thread at slashgear
