Is getting alienware 14 worth it anymore?

Someone wants to trade my desktop for one my specs are CPU: I7 4790k quad core never over clocked GPU: GTX 970 SSC, 16 gb of ram can be upgraded to 32 gb, 120gb SSD, 2 TB HDD, Motherboard: MSI military class 4 Z87-G41 PC mate, Powersupply: 500 watts. I wanted to get a laptop so I could game in more than one room in the house I know a desktop is worth way more in the long run but i'm just tired of being in my room when I want to game it's just a personal preference thing.

Alienware 14 specs are Gt750m and a i5 4200 I usually play games like battlefield 4, skyrim, and resident evil.

You do realize that the graphical power equivalent of the gtx 970 is roughly the gtx 980m for laptops....
I haven't looked at any gtx 750m benchmarks lately but I wouldn't even play dota 2 on that personally.

Find a laptop that has specs not too far removed from your desktop. It would be tough to find anyone who would want to do that trade. You could just try selling your PC in parts somewhere and put the money towards a laptop with good specs.

I would go with erocker on this one. You might have better success parting your desktop out if you are that hard up for a laptop. Those new Pascal ones with a 1060 or 1070 in them are not priced too reasonably bad. At least in my estimation.
