Josh, skip going for 3 gb and just get 2 matched 1gb sticks. Then you'll run in dual channel and the memory will work better together. Personally, I would just ditch the memory you have now and get 2gb's of ddr800 or better. Prices are very good right now.

Right now, latest driver creates more problems than solves.
Go to their forum, people are complaining about drivers non-stop, unfortunately.
Of course, I do not think it will be for a while, just need some time till they will develop new drivers and fix all the problems. I hope so. :D
there shouldnt be any problems after 1-3 catalysts that is released EVERY singel month
just look at ati's crysis hotfix, it shows that they do release hotfixes to
the catalyst naming is nice, as in 7 = 2007 & 12 = december that is 7.12 driver
i realy hope ati will do a 7.13 as in 13 months in a year :p

ddr2 prices are way down the toilet now, they are DIRT cheap, meybe get 2x2GB DDR2 PC6400

I can still run in dual channel if I just get another 2gb. Because right now I have 2x matching 512mb ddr2 667's and I'm getting 2x matching 1gb ddr2 667's so it will still all run in dual channel, so I've been told.

I still agree with them. Ditch the Corsair, and buy a 2x1GB 800MHz Ballistix kit.

I have already ordered the 2x 1gb ddr2 667 kit.

Can some more people just confirm that if I have 2x 512mb sticks and 2x 1gb sticks, all identical except size, can I run 3gb in dual channel?

Yeah, it should run dual channel. But you may want to try and get your ram speeds up anyway.
