Is it worth it to go for the logitech G9x Laser Mouse over the original G9 Mouse

    I say no.. But thats me.. Im sure alot of enthusiasts will say go for it.. But not worth the money.

    Grab a G5 2007 edition (the blue one) then. Unless you absolutely must have wireless.

    Its a manner of opinion, but I disagree. The texture just makes your palm sweat incredibly, it lacks functionality which the G9 has, and its generally slightly awkward.

    The G9x is almost the same as the G9 with a different sensor. IMHO its just gimicky to have a 5000 DPI sensor, you can't possibly need that much, 3200 is plenty enough.

    If you have a choice between the two at a similiar price point, go ahead and get the G9x, otherwise, don't waste your time thinking about it and get a G9.

    yup 3200 dpi is enough, even for my screen resolution at 1900x1200
