Yes Intel need the Sales
for how long do you believe that 4770K will serve me for to ,play games?>?
People are Still Rocking thair Gaming needs with Sandybridge ( and even Xeon Westmere)
will i see any difference if i will update my 4770K to 8700K for games??
yes your See some improvement
will 4770k last for the next 2 years for to play games??
Yes It will still be useful probably for at least the next 5 years
will games ask for six cores and 8 cores in the next 2 years?? or i will be ok with my 4770k for the next 2 years?
Probably not in the next few (5 or more maybe) years games will start to require more than 4 Cores
and when do you believe that it wii be nessesary to update in new cpu??
3 to 5 years time unless the Wallet Scratching itch plagues you.
AMD's latest (and Future offerings ) will Prompt Intel to respond with a better /Inproved offering than the last few years miserly 5% improvment ( on Average)

will i see any proovement in fps if i will update my 4770K to 8700K?
cannot really Say its all hardware Dependent your have to check online hardware comparason benchmarks
( your See some improvment but its for you to decide if the cost/performance increase is personaly worth it for yourself)

The 4770k is on par for gaming with the Ryzen 1600 - 2600x depending on OC for the 4770k. Considering consoles are the driving force for gaming CPU hardware on AAA titles and no new consoles are coming out until 2020-2021 I would say you are fine until then.

Plus, if you upgrade the CPU now, you will need another motherboard and some DDR4 ram, at current prices that is going to be a quite pricey upgrade.

The driving force for PC gaming is the video card, your almost always better off with that upgrade before the CPu especially one that is more then capable like yours.

It is not worth it currently with platform costs Board and RAM as well as CPU as I mentioned above, also a significant factor would be your current graphics card, what do you have?

one person told me this
It depends on the games you're playing. If you're playing the latest Triple-A titles, it could give a minor bump. If you're playing less demanding titles, it definitely isn't worth it. If you're streaming from that PC, it's worth the upgrade. It's also worth considering the R7 2700X at the same price point since it's better for streaming.

I wouldn't put a time frame on how long the i7-4770K will be a good gaming CPU. It's dependent on the games you play. Someone who only plays esports titles would never need to upgrade from an i7-4770K. As games become better at utilizing more threads, it would be beneficial to upgrade, but not necessarily mandatory.

I would personally wait until next spring to consider upgrading the CPU. Intel's 8-core mainstream CPU should be available by then and Zen 2 will be on the horizon. Zen 2 could be the point at which AMD takes the lead.

he believes that there are games that uses more than 4 cores

i have one 780 gtx now./

There's no real reason to upgrade especially since it would cost 5-600$ to change platform and there isn't a real reason to do so. I have only seen 1-2 games that actually use more than 4 cores (universe sandbox and space engineers I think)

Yes He is Absolutly right.
There are many Games that can use more than 4 cores but at the moment (and foreseeable future) no Game Demands more than 4

To be honest he is likely to see more of an improvement sticking with the 4770K and upgrading the 780 currently, and cheaper, he has also a thread asking about upgrading the 780 to an 1180, the combined platform upgrade with CPU and an 1180 is going to be huge, if it were me, I would start with the GPU if gaming was my priority and then maybe a year later go to work on the board, CPU and DDR4.

Invest in a sharpie, write 8700k on your 4770k. It will scratch that mental "I'm missing out on something itch" for you.

I just started playing jurassic world evolution and it plays nice with my 8 core. All 16 threads are all moving around 30% when gaming. So maybe games are starting too?

Games are starting to make use of more than 4 cores, however until games start maxing out 6-8 cores your 4 core will be fine. As I said in things like universe sandbox and space engineers my 6800k (6 core) tends to run at 80-90% all core usage and maxes out my 6700k (4c/8t) and 2400(4c/4t)

There's really not a good list that I have found, if you want to see if your games do, open up hwmonitor or task manager and look at the individual core usages.
