Im in the market for a new computer, and i want to know whether its really worth waiting for the Penryn Quad Cores?

i had wanted to go an SLi rig, however the new ASUS Maximus Extreme Mobo i was looking at, doesnt support it, only Crossfire.

And im not an ATi or NVidia fanboy, i just want to go with whats good, so i just wanted to know whats the difference between SLi/Crossfire. Coz that will determine whether i go with 2 x R680's when they come out, or just go one 8800 Ultra...

Wait a little...and as for vga I think you'd do good getting the R680's.

Well I'd say wait.Coz usually prices drop and R680s may be better things.
