Ok, so I have the Antec Kühler H2O 620 installed, push/pull configuration on the fans.
Also the radiator is set outside the case instead of inside, actually had to modify the case a bit..

So, I was playing Far Cry 3 for about 1 - 1½ hours and noticed that the air coming out was warm, looked at the temps and it was at 30°C.

When I had the air cooler (AMD) it was much higher, and that was in Borderlands 2 (around 40~42°C).

It does get cold rather fast, it's down to around 26°C already.

But are the temps ok?

Temps look good to me, I have the same CPU with a H50 push/pull setup and mine are about the same. If you really want to test it out, you could always run CPU crunching program. http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=68

(I run mine 12 hours a day at 100% with no problems.)

The temps with your system would appear to be normal or a good standard for having a properly functional CPU cooler. From what you said you appear to have used a standard air cooler you get with a CPU and they are crap so it is better to get a separate cooler for your CPU rather than rely on the one that comes with it.

There are a long list of manufactures I can name as being good for making CPU coolers such as Prolimatech, Noctua, Thermaltake or even Corsair, but what you have and the configuration you have it in too is more than enough for your system and a better CPU cooler will only be marginally better than yours.

You can improve your temps a little by using better thermal paste, but at best it may only get your temps down by 3 degrees or less if the thermal paste you are using is good.

Also I too have a water CPU cooler in push pull so I know how good your sort of set is. :)

temps are fine, nothing to worry about.

Use prime 95 or intel burn test to load your cpu and test your cooling solution.

Considering your phenom x6, i would say try to stay under 50c, as the spec max is 62.

Your cooler should pass with flying colors.
