Hi
I recently brought a drive from cex.co.uk. This is what i brought:
http://uk.webuy.com/product.php?sku=SREMTI3AA
Now looking at this you would believe you was buying a blu ray writer am I correct? Well as soon as it arrived i looked on the drive itself and on the offical label with the barcode and serial number it said Blu Ray Rom/DVD Re-Writer. I thought hhhmmmm, That dont sound right. Anyway I proceed to install the drive which works fine. But burning blu rays it does not seem to do. I have looked on google and inserted the model number and came up with:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Dell-6X-BLU-RAY-DVD-BURNER-MODEL-CH20N-DELL-P-N-37YN9-/260703093953
when i look at these specs they seem to be the same as mine. I have a bd rewritable 50gb disc but when i try to burn on imageburn i get the I/O error 0x02. Then i tried to make a disc on nero 10 but the only options i had were DVD 4gb or DVD DL 8gb. Is there another way of finding out the spec of this Drive like a tool or something?
