recently i found on newegg a 1660 super for 170 $ from a chinese brand named peladn. Then i start my research i was thinking they were laptop cards this why price so down but i check everything and they are deskpot cards with 1660 super spects. Now my problems are two.
1- drivers issue but i dont think so why newegg would sell a product that cannot support real nvidia drivers
2- the overall quality of coolers i know for their price you cant expect anything we it comes to product quality but atleast i want a decent temperature , no overheating also i went to aliexpress to look for the card brand i didnt really find a lot of information from the brand but a lot of other chinese gpus have the same coolers they look identical they just change the name .Should i buy one or its a risky option or should i try the famous gpus companies [gigabyte, sapphire, evga]

they could be ok, just dont buy anything chinese on ebay/amazon/newegg. You really should use aliexpress for it. Not only you will see better pricing (cuz they usually resell aliexpress stuff on newegg, and there goes the price increase which you dont need), the warranty on aliexpress for these things would actually be better. If you buy from a reputable seller, and the thing you bought is DOA, then if you talk calmly with the seller they will actually give you a partial/full refund, and if that doesnt work you still have the option to dispute, upload evidence and after a week or so get your money back.

170 usd for a 1660s isnt uncommon these days, i have seen some cards for 130-140usd. And they are tu116 based, real 1660s with gddr6. There is still a small chance that you may come across some camouflaged gts 450, just watch out for that vga port, and the seller should be a reputable one.

Its on newegg. just buy it and if it has a problem return it. i dont know why all you people who live in countries that have such generous return policies not take advantage of them compared to those of us living in countries where none of such policies exist. All brands have to start somewhere. None of those well known brands became well known overnight. At one point im sure no one would buy an Inno3D or a Palit just some time ago. You ppl gave these brands a chance, why not give another one a chance? Is this how you ppl stiffle the competition, drive prices up and put the blame on others?

It's not even clear by OP what he is buying, it seems a laptop GPU made fit for desktops he said......

When I buy a new GPU I always buy from well known brands that can be trusted, so I don't have to worry about if I'm getting screwed any way or not....

Counterfeit cards are a way bigger worry. If you just got a card that was mined on but otherwise legit you'd be lucky.

Eh, they seem legitimate enough. They have an official website, https://www.pradeon.com/ and the cards look like they've had some thought put into them, but if you get the card and it comes with a driver disc that they REQUIRE you to install for the card to work? Return that crap immediately. Half the time those are buggy, hacked-together unsigned drivers that typically come with a free trojan or autominer built in.
