Is the Sapphire 4890 Vaporx for sale yet. Where?

Just read a review at overclockers. 1050mhz core, over 1200mhz memory.
Ewiz nor newegg has it yet.

I've been wondering the same thing myself. I found this over at Hexus.net "Sapphire is planning on officially launching the Radeon HD 4890 Atomic 1,024MB card next week."

This was posted on April 29th so it should be launched this week. Dunno how reliable hexus is though. I just found out about them because I've been trying to find this card. If you find one for sale somewhere tell me!!! I'll let you know if I find one.

im thinking of buying 2 of these or 4 to replace my 4870x2, but i dont think they would fit, the heatsink looks too big, i think only 2 would fit...DAMMIT!

Nice. I want one as well. Maybe two but only have 1920x1200 atm. Pretty underwhelmed with my 'regular' Sapphire 4870 1GB that I've had for about a month. Can't soft mod and doesn't overclock for crap. Ah well, was only $189 and came with Clear Sky.

1 isn't enough to max out some games at 1920x1200.

It looks just like the Toxic 4870 rather than the Vapor-X 4850/4870 cards. Still a nice card though.

Anymore details on the powercolor? I am a little reserved on the power color brand as I purchased a 4870 1G that had the flicker problem. Had to return it back to newegg and also lost 15% due to their return policy, It was clearly a powercolor issue. I havent wrote them off completely though.
