Is the temperature of my CPU ok?

The CPU is an Intel Core 2 Duo, E6400, stock cooling.
Below is a snapshot from CPUID Hardware Monitor.

Also, the "ambient" temperature of the room is somewhere around 25°C (77°F).
I have applied a thin layer (as always) of Arctic Silver 5, in the BIOS of the motherboard (ASUS P5B) I have disabled the option that allows the cpu to run under the 2.13GHz when not under load (idle). Should I enable this option?

Is the temperature normal for the CPU, taking in consideration the room temperature?

Other info:
Case - Coolermaster Mystique with 2 fans (1 in front, 1 in the rear) sucks in cold air, and blows it out from the rear. I think they are both 140(?) fans, both are coolermaster fans.

Settings for fans - chassie and CPU are set to "performance", but I did not hear an increase of fan speed.

No problem at all there. An after marked cooler is always nicer but if you don't run 100 % CPU or overclock just keep your stock cooler. I asume that the above temperature are idle.

It is normal for a stock clock. This cooler will suffice unless you do some serious overclocking. :)

Thanks for the replies, mstenholm & guitarfreaknation. I opened up the side of the case just to take a look, and the temps went down a couple of degrees. Also, I read that the AS5 has a break in period of 200 hrs.

Guess it's normal then. I was just worried about the temps, mainly because I did same thing to a friends system (1.8Ghz C2D cpu) but his temps were lower..

These temps appear normal for stock cooling. Of course, every computer will show a different temperature because there are SO many variables to consider (ambient temperature, airflow in case, temperature of all computer parts, type and amount of thermal paste applied, etc., etc...) so your friend's temps are sure to be varied.

Yeah, those temps are fine - really good actually, especially considering you're using the stock Intel cooler. It's normal to see a few degrees difference between computers.

One of the many factors affecting the readout, is the temperature readout hardware itself. You can have two identical PCs side by side and one CPU or system temp will read 5C higher than the other, even though they may be actually be at the same temperature.

If your idle temp was showing 55-65C, then perhaps there might be some concern.
