See I am only interested in the vid cards and maybe the mobo, may be. What to do with the rest? This dude want to get rid of everything at once so he may not want to sell part by part. So anything else you folks might want from this deal. I am only interested in the vid cards.

Well lets put it this way.
The 8800GTXs usually go anywhere from $500-600 roughly.
So thats a nice deal.

Sell the parts you dont want on EBAY.

Well, the video cards alone are over $1000 new. The C2D is a bit over $200 right now, and the RAM is likely going to be over $200. You still have the motherboard, and the HSF is probably $40+.

I'd make sure everything's in great condition. If you can lower the price at all, do it. I don't think it's a super hot deal, but it's not a bad deal by any definition.

It's 6 months old and EVGA has a hassle of a warranty policy (only original owner unless you can come up with the sale recepit and change the registration info, sigh). They are more like $450ish now on fleebay.

Think about it though, one 8800GTX can run your Dell 30"er at max res. but with TWO, you can run it at max res... wait a minute...
Yeah, that's it, max res AND highest settings... possibly... in some games...

Great deal, but sad if its already gone. Is Nvidia going to offer to run a third card as a physics accelerater? Like others pointed out if you can afford the $1300 why not one GTX by itself? You already have a good setup though, but I can imagine the high res of the 30" might be hard to push decent frames with all the settings turned up even for an 8800.
