Is this backlight bleeding too much or normal?

Hi guys, I purchased a new Samsung (S23A550H) monitor 1 month ago. However, it has some backlight bleeding like most LEDs on the market. I'm wondering that whether it is normal or too much. Pls give your opinions for this one. In First picture, the monitor is at low brightness, In second one, the monitor is at full brightness. Thanks.

Its normal, i have it on my screen too (Samsung e2320) and it doesnt bother me

Backlight bleeding would be the faint glow you see along the edges, most noticeable in the bottom right of the second picture. That spot is something else, like a segment of bad pixels or stuck pixels that cannot change colors etc.

EDIT: Unless that white spot is part of your background or something.

Isnt the spot just the reflection of the camera or a light source or something

As someone who doesn't have backlight bleeding I find any amount to be too much.

There wasn't any spot on my screen. My background was fully black. I used the DPT program.
I took the picture in completely dark room with my cell phone (5800XM) with night mode enabled. So there wasn't any flash while taking photo. So, Is that amount of bleeding normal?

Should turn off your monitor when your not using it, these things are power hungry.

Looks like normal backlight bleed around the edges.

Don't see any bad dead pixel in those shots. To tell about pixels you would need to run different screens, not black. And, better pics for anyone to say so.

Play with it and try to get it to your liking. You can always reset it to the defaults.
Also, you may want to try looking/googling for anyone else who has tested adjustments.

Other Thoughts: I use this monitor on the PC connected through the HDMI port. On setup the colors were washed out, brightness was way too much even at low settings. The greys and blacks were all just grey. This was corrected by going into the monitor MENU and then selecting the first option labeled PICTURE. At the bottom of the picture sub menu you will find a option called HDMI BLACK LEVEL. This will be set to NORMAL by default. By changing this setting from Normal to LOW it makes a world of difference. The blacks are deep black now and the greys are grey. No color washing out. The user can now change the contrast and brightness to his her preference.

I had already checked for it on all colors. Don't have any dead/stuck pixel at least
