MXM 3.0 A for 15'6 laptops
MXM 3.0 B for 17'3+ laptops

(MXM 3.0 can be found in newer laptops).

In Asus notebooks/gaming laptops (even GTX 680M/780M) is always soldered (you can't replace current GPU). For GPU upgrades I'd recommend you laptops like alienware or clevo.

no asus has some notebooks with cards in them sometimes, my old G71 had one but it was a proprietary mxm which only fitted the G71 and I think this one too but you have to take out the entire motherboard to get to it but if you flip it over and take off the cover for the back access to change the hard drive and ram you might see it poking out if it has one.

if you take off the access and look underneath you will be able to tell by looking at this picture also and lining it up with yours

Since Asus uses a proprietary MXM though its not easy to get a card that fits(or works ftw) besides cards made for the series or the heatsink will cause issues or the like, like dell did with the old precision and M17XX line(which were not mxm but still cards) and even then if you get a more powerful card it would probably need a new power brick also.

the card your looking at though will not work because of this, you need a card made by asus because their stuff is modified.
