I really don't go by hwmonitor readings it's pretty flaky app
Try hwinfo sensors only option

Nothing to say if readings are normal or not though you'd have to use hwinfo for those.

Hardware monitor was not doing it for me either. It might sound silly but open hardware monitor is working good for me. You just need to find something that works with your system.

Let me guess are you using the Stock heatsink that came with that i5 if so then yes that's pretty well standard temps for a good enough heatsink

Based on both of those softwares your PSU is shot, neither reads within tolerance for 12V.

good catch I didn't even look at voltages just thought it was another I think my CPU is overheating thread.

Not necessarily, first boot into the Bios to check voltage readings there for the 3,5 and 12V.

No telling what's going on with the psu manufactures do what they want too so nothing other than that and a little warm going on
Machine seems to run okay.

I transplanted a little acer ax3800 barely larger than a dvd player into a larger case with a real psu and it runs to this day although it runs in a entertainment center now

PSU readings are just bug readings. Its physically imposible for a PC to work with 6~7V for the +12V rail.

Laptops are a little weird when using this kind of software. What OP can do is to go to HWiNFO forums, make a thread and submit a debug file for the authors of HWiNFO to check and see if they can do anything about it. Maybe fix it on next beta, if there is anything to fix.

According to g the openhw monitor one of my cores is 60c hotter than The others. And one of my ssd’s is 100+C its spotty at best for some readings
