Is this still a good CPU

So I pulled this out my old hp pre built pc got it back in 2012 to play skyrim on it's a amd fx 8150 3.6mhz I have never oc it so I won't knowhow high can I get it.how much is this worth now. or should I keep in and put the hp parts in my old mid size case witch is a nzxt guardian 921.

It's not worth that much, it can probably be used for kids machine or media server. For a second machine it will work perfectly tho.

There still a OK CPU. My mate has the 8120 paired with a GTX 970 and he seems happy with it still and its a stock clocks. They got faster as time went on with software taking more advantage of the more cores. But I do noticed a good 20FPS difference between his 8120 and my 8350 in most games.

If someone said a 970 is working perfectly fine, why would a 960 not be good.

Yeah I think a GTX 960 would suit it better then my mates 970, bottle necks the card to much.

PSU I think should be ok, but its all about the AMP's.

Thanks I see what I can do with it I rebuild my old hp into that case I had and put my 960 in there and it should be a decent pc
