I am downloading and creating a uupdump ISO. I was expecting release today and holding off on a reinstall. Any news or tips? Is the uupdump ISO ok today?
(uupdump will build the ISO this can be a little slow on a HDD or if you don't have a good net connection).

My ISO is ready I am just hoping for some expert advice folk!

EDIT: CrAsHnBuRnXp posted ISO links 3 posts down.

Can I get the ISO from Windows Update? I am still on 1803 and I need to clean install today (or tomorrow). Windows 1803 is falling apart ...

Yes; it's an official MS release today. It's a feature enable update for 1903 with patch level now.

so yes 1909 is "safe" to use

Famous last words... but yes, should be "safer." You basically already have it installed, and the update merely "enables" said features.

It's only like monthly cumulative update, not a real "new" Windows version. It's not even reinstalling Windows, that's why no windows.old folder. I think there is nothing to worry about.

It's running fine on my nvme now. Thank you for all the help. I just need to boot back into windows and take a screenshot of my desktop to see what programs to install.

There's no way of migrating programs across windows installs, is there?

It's been working without any obvious issues for me. Installed it before Microsoft was to start a roll out to employees within Microsoft.

So far so good for me too... but I always seem that way.

I did not mean to sound alarmist. Just know past releases have had issues for some.

No issues for me either. I also did new nvidia drivers right after that, and no issues.
