I got a live recording of a show performance. and one of the songs (possibly others) is showing about 1 minute slower on my itunes and iphone. and when i drag the slider it doesnt progress the song say 2 mins if i drag it 2 minutes down. Now i listened to this now, just let it play and the song cut off after a bit. when i listened to it on my phone earlier today, it didnt cut off at the end.

any ideas on whats going on here? mpc sees it at its proper length and can use the slider just fine.

its an mp3 file. bitrate 187kbps (VBR)

Edit: somethings weird with the encoding. found out itunes can convert to mp3. tried that. and its a minute shorter but it tracks properly. when i dragged the slider worked fine.

But when it was a minute longer in mpc i dragged the slider and it was just fine there. not sure what was goin on.
