Jamo 360 S 35 HCS amplifier prize

Hello ladies and gentlemen. I racently brought a Jamo 360 S 35 HCS and now im trying to connect it to my plasma tv but i cant find a way. I asked about this problem to costumer support and they informed me about an amplifier which costs 300$ I dont want to spend 300 only to connect a already high priced sound system to my plasma tv. Does anyone know a way with a fair price? Thanks.

Correct you will need a A/V receiver to power these. For example http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Home/AV-Receivers . whatever you can find decently priced in your area or used.

Speakers need power, your TV alone can’t /won’t do it. You need an amplifier to power speakers. A "Sound System" includes an amplifier.

You can buy powered speakers such as these that do not require a receiver/amp:

Just make sure it has the connections (such as Digital Optical or Bluetooth) that you will need to connect to your TV.

EDIT: Kind of late advice as you have already purchased the ones that are not powered.

You can get used receivers pretty cheap. Sometimes free.
