It might not have been announced in time for Christmas, but Bauhütte's new MSG-01H-BK might just be what you've been wanting your whole life, without knowing it. What we're looking at is a heated hand massager for gamers, that uses "air bags" to knead your tired hands and fingers after a long gaming session and it can massage both the right and left hand, plus fingers and has a dedicated thumb massage mode.

The manufacturer also suggests that using the heating mode without massage can be great before a gaming session, to help warm up the muscles in your hands and fingers. There are no less than 15 massage zones and you can choose between a general massage mode and a dedicated finger mode, both with three levels of pressure and a 10 minute automatic timer. If you're lucky enough to live in Japan, you can pick one up for US$145, which doesn't exactly sound like a bargain to us.

How do we know that knuckle cracking is harmless?

One of the most convincing bits of evidence suggesting that knuckle cracking is harmless comes from a California physician who reported on an experiment he conducted on himself. Over his lifetime, he regularly cracked the knuckles of only one hand. He checked x-rays on himself after decades of this behavior and found no difference in arthritis between his hands. A larger study came to a similar conclusion.

I'm sure this will sell well among the geriatric gamers... Oddly enough, there are a number of fellows named Jerry Atrick, but I'm sure the pun is getting quite old.

My brother says the same. Did it, irritated me, is now paying for it.

Interesting. Then again, my brother suffers from a joint condition so he probably shouldn't have been messing in the first place. Bad sample, lol.

Is this the same company that makes the other pointless and stupid "gamer" shit, like the "gamer bed" and that "gamer" onesie?

Also, looking at the promo pics for this stupid thing, mainly the one with the manbaby reading his little manga book while his wittle hand gets massaged, had me dead-ass almost bust a vein. "Gamers" can't be this pathetic, can they?

Also, only thing missing from the promo pic I talked about are the fucking sippy cups.

Benchmark Scores I don't quite know how i managed to get such a top tier PC, I am not rich.
I laughed for like a good solid minute at this

Then i remembered how much hand pain i actually get in winter (nerve issues) and thought... well shit this might actually be good for me.

If i lived in japan.
And was rich.

This is like that typical Call-TV commercial product.

'Its compact and fits under the bed!'
'Get skinny with just 10 minutes of sitting on your ass with this device, per day'
'A complete workout by doing nothing!'

No scientific basis whatsoever, but 'it feels good' so surely it can't be bad.
But it really can, because this way you're denying the needs your body really has. Frequent movement. Using muscles differently. Placing your jackoff hand in a massager is not using muscles, its keeping them in the same-ish position as that mouse hand. Better to just jack off with it. Cheaper, too! See, evolution was way ahead of us here.

Is this the same company that makes the other pointless and stupid "gamer" shit, like the "gamer bed" and that "gamer" onesie?

My doctor once told me first to heat the hands and then to cross the hands with the fingers intertwined from the base. Then you slowly pull from each hand while shaking the hands a little, the phalanxes will pull one another gently. I have been doing this for years and is way more gentle for the hands, the problem with cracking the joints is you can rupture them and the liquid inside them can escape, that's what provokes arthritis.
